So, I've beaten Civ5 for the third time, this time on a scientific victory on Prince difficulty. I just love this game.

Oh, and I played some Portal 2 coop with a friend. It's possibly one of the best things I've ever played online.

So I started giving Batman Arkhum Asylum a whirl this w/e. Living up to the hype so far, really enjoying it. I particularly like the part where you're the GODDAM BATMAN!

Ubisoft sued over AC copyright infringement.

It also requests that the judge prevent the release of Assassin's Creed III and all related products.

Someone should sue Ubisoft for that stupid DRM of theirs and for killing the Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell franchises.

Has anyone checked what the reasons are ? Hilarious  Grin

About Prince of Persia, I don't get what they "killed". They delivered 3 games (the first two were awesome and I loved the contrast between Sands of Time and Warrior Within) the 3rd being just ok.

Huge fan of Splinter Cell and while I get why the uber-stealth gurus are mad, I loved Conviction. I finished it 5 times (it's also short), because it's just a fun game.
Btw, the new SP is being made by Jade Raymond, the hot chick who did AC1 Wink which is IMO still the best AC game, at least in terms of atmosphere and immersion where it sweeps the floor with the sequels.

I'm 99% sure AC3 will come out. In worst case scenario, they will pay him those 6 mill $ and be done with it.

Downloading the beta right now. It's taking a ridiculous amount of time to download though LOL

The first three Prince of Persia games Ubisoft produced are, in my humble opinion, one of the best videogames ever. The two that came after the trilogy are beyond awful. Unhappy

Not for me Tongue When it was done though I realized the beta hadn't even started yet, and now the servers are too busy. Who knew an open beta for Diablo 3 would be so popular Tongue LOL

Oh sorry ! You are right.  Those were so bland that I didn't even remember them lol !
Though the 2008 had an amazing graphical setting, one of the most beautiful worlds ever.

What is the single player like in D3? I heard it's kinda different from traditional rpg's.

Got to play for about 20 minutes this morning before going to bed, figured I'd play it this afternoon. Now I'm getting an Error 37 message. Joy Tongue

Looks like they'll be taking the beta down for a little bit soon so hopefully that'll fix it. This beta will pretty much decide whether or not I'll get the game so I really want to try it out properly before it goes offline. Never really got into D2 for some reason. Tried on multiple occasion but never got hooked Shy

I played with a friend. Think of it as Borderlands is done.. You can play with up to 3 ppl coop or solo with an npc follower. And AFAIK, single player will be done the same way as Starcraft is - even tho you can play solo, you have to be on battle.net all the time.

@MadCat: There's already a topic on D3 forums explaining probably all of the error numbers ppl are getting. And if I remember correctly, Error 37 basically means "Servers are full" Happy I got that yesterday evening so we have to postpone playing till today morning.

Anyway, there's zero reasons to play this solo, so let me know (on steam) if you want a party  Cool
